Bondware Version 4.35

Sell Subscriptions with PayPal

If you have a publication and a PayPal account, you can take subscription orders and conduct simple commerce using the latest version of Bondware. When combined with Bondware's powerful paywall features, this is a straight-forward way to generate revenue from the content on your website, but don't stop there. This new feature can also easily take orders for your print product, reducing staff time and offering 24/7 service. Lastly, you can also accept payment for simple services or events via your online store-front.

Ad Inserts for Digital Editions

A digital edition is an online page-flipper app that Bondware builds automatically when you upload your print-ready PDF files. Digital editions can be viewed interactively via a desktop web browser, tablet or smart phone. Digital edition content can be easily protected by our leading edge Paywall features. Now, Bondware has introduced a new way to monetize your digital editions by inserting ad pages into the flow as readers view your content. The inserted ad pages pull from Bondware's Ad Manager module so your impressions/clicks are all tracked. Setup is easy using a simple template that applies to all your digital editions.

New Content Section Slider

This release includes a photo slider element that rotates photos from articles in a designated section. Typically, this might be used by news sites to rotate Top Stories or Breaking News. Features include next/previous navigation and robust tablet and mobile support. On phones or tablets, a swipe is all you need to see navigate the photos.

Reduced SPAM with Captcha

Our latest release includes a new content setting to require a captcha (human-test) when posting opinions on articles. We hope this will reduce your staff work-load related to automated SPAM-bots that try to post links on sites around the Internet.

Last Word

We hope you enjoy this release as much as we enjoyed creating it. As usual, you can learn more about the new features in our online knowledge base at http://www.bondware.com/help. Since this will be our last newsletter this year, the entire Bondware team wishes you a happy and safe holiday season.
