Improved Time Zone Support
This release includes significant improvements to the date, time and timezone handling within Bondware. While not always critical to US-based sites, this capability can be vital to some of our European and Australian clients with international audiences.
Translation on Signup and Profile Pages
Bondware site owners can translate/localize Bondware's default wording on the Signup and Profile pages. This feature is available under Admin|Site Settings|Advanced Features|Translation/Localization. This feature can also be used to translate to another language or simply change/enhance Bondware's default messaging on these pages.
Manually Processing Orders in Simple Store
As more clients adopt the built-in Simple Store feature in Bondware for handling subscriptions and simple e-commerce, it became clear there should be a way for admins to manually mark orders paid. This feature has been added in this release.
Google API / Traffic Maps
With the growing popularity of embedding Google's services on Bondware sites, we have now added a simple setting for site owners to enter the the Google API key provided by Google and required for more advanced services. The first feature to use this setting is our new trafficmap element. Given a specific latitude and longitude, this element will display a traffic map showing hot-spots for traffic congestion. Module News
Bondware is pleased to announce an upgraded version of our Survey module. With recent changes, this module is perfect for collecting data for Reader's Choice style promotions. The module supports:
- grouping of questions into survey sections
- multiple-choice & open-ended questions
- optional & required questions
- member-only or guest voting (with captcha)
- multiple voting with required interval between votes
