Article Closing Bot Arrives

Tired of the house keeping task of closing articles that have become stale on your news site?  You'll love the new feature under Admin|Content|Content Preferences that lets you set the default number of days newly created articles will stay active before being auto-closed and moving into the archives.  You can focus on the news and let the auto-bots do the busy work.
 

Even More Section Template Features

We can understand if you don't share our enthusiasm for Publish's new section templates out of the gate.  It is a rather dry topic until the exact moment that you want to create a more stylish presentation for your news site.  

New features in this release make it even easier for site owners to layout news sections, design ad positions or add that stylish design element that closes the deal with a top advertiser.  Check it out under Admin|Design|Section Templates and then associate templates with your content sections.

Admins, Editors and Writers, Oh My

One of our most requested features is different permission levels for admin users within a Publish site.  While it did not make this release, I'm happy to report that development of this feature is well underway and will debut in the 4.22 release.  Our team has been working hard to fine tune the feature set and we will definitely be looking for a few good beta testers to provide early feedback.
