Article Slideshow

Everyone has heard the expression “a picture is worth a thousand words” and we couldn’t agree more. The headline feature of this release is the all-new article slideshow. This feature allows news publishers to easily create and modify a slideshow to accompany any article. Whatsmore, the new slideshow works fabulously with mobile/touch devices and features the ability to include an Ad Manager ad spot. Module Cleanup

In the effort to provide a quality product at a fair price, we took a hard look at the modules we currently offer and have decided to pare down our library to only the best and most popular. We plan to focus on the modules that are most used by publishers in order to create better products that drive revenues. The coming months should yield some valuable updates to the following modules:

• Newsletter Pro

• Ad Manager

• Subscription Manager

• E-Commerce

• Polls

• Calendar

• Business Directory

If you are using a module not listed above, relax, we’ll still continue to service all modules that are currently licensed, although updates will be limited.

Additional Changes

This update also includes the following changes:

• The ability to restrict access to article images for writers and editors.

• Added the ability to display the number of views per article using the most_viewed element.

• Updated the listing of failed logins to be more informative.

• Image previews for images stored on Amazon S3 will now display while creating articles.

• Added the ability to upload .jpeg and .mp4 files.

• Other minor bug fixes and security updates.
