Here is an article on how to create a top navigation link to a newsletter sign-up form. Create a page to the calendar the same way.
Creating a newsletter sign-up page
Log in to your ContentEngine site and go to Pages
Select the green plus + icon on the top right to create a new Page
Name the page:
- Subscribe
- Join Us
- Newsletter
- Sign-Up
Check the box to Link this page to (mailing list.)
Select Internal Link (mailing list) in the drop down
Select Join Mailing List in the next drop down
Click Create.
Adding a description to the sign-up form
Go to Settings
Scroll to the area that says Newsletter Info and put in a description to display above the sign-up form
